General Questions

Sales are open 8am – 4:30pm Monday thru Friday. We are closed all statutory holidays

We have 2 locations

Our main hub is 19405 Enterprise Way, Surrey, BC.

Our second facility is located at 603 Algoma Crescent, Prince George, BC.

We’re always on the lookout for a new member of the Langfab family. Check out our Careers page for any postings. If there aren’t any, still send us your resume and a cover letter. You never know what can happen!

We don’t do anything with trucks themselves — we only build the bodies and the corresponding systems that attach to the truck.
Langfab was established over 45 years ago. We’ve been a strong force in the industry with our innovative products, and are proud to be still going strong.
We are CTEA certified, SSAB recognized, and are certified trailer inspectors.

There are a lot of factors that go into building a new body. If you give us all required information immediately (the specs of your truck, what exactly you’re looking for, your deposit, etc), then the process can begin fully.

However, builds are affected by the overall industry, and whether or not your product is custom.

In conclusion, we can’t give you a time or cost estimate until we have all the information on hand. So many things can vary wait times.

Yes — we tend to keep 1 or 2 pre-built bodies in stock (of our most commonly purchased bodies).

Yes! They have a high resale value — just keep your truck body in good shape with proper maintenance and you’re good to go if you wish to sell in the future.

Yup! Each body has a list of optional add-ons you can consider. We can also adjust certain aspects of a body to your liking (as long as the body remains road safe and structurally sound, of course!).

Yes! If you have no preference, your product will be painted either Langfab Silver or Langfab Storm Gray.

If you DO have a preference (either because you like a certain colour or your company has a specific aesthetic), let us know. We’ll work with you to pick the exact colour you’re looking for.

All of our dump bodies (except for the Landscaper and the Full Aluminum Body) can be installed onto a LCG Transfer Trailer.

Absolutely! We have over 45 years of experience in the industry, and our team is packed with experts who know what each of our products are perfect for.

If you find yourself unsure what to order, we will happily sit down with you and figure it out.

Simply request a quote online or give us a call to get the process rolling.

We’ll need the following information to get the ball rolling:

  • Your name
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Company Name
  • Where you’re located
  • What body you’re wanting to order
  • Are you wanting a standard body or custom?
  • What truck will be hauling your truck body? (We will need more specs on your vehicle once the order is submitted)

We do offer a warranty on our products. Please give us a call to learn more.

Custom Fabrication Questions

Anything that deviates from the standard build is custom. So if you wish to include some optional add-ons to your order, or wish to adjust certain aspects of your chosen body, your order will become custom.

Yes, simply because they take more time to build and sometimes require more material.

Give us a call or email us. Let us know what your idea and budget is, and what job your custom product is for.

We love a challenge, and special fabrication projects are always great fun for us. Examples of what we can do:

  • Small, specially-cut pieces of metal for tractors
  • Aluminum wheelbarrows
  • Custom cages for transporting animals

It’s tough to say how much your special fab project could cost you. It depends on complexity, material, and overall size.

Same answer as cost. Depends on your project’s complexity, required material, and overall size.

First step is contacting us. After that is a deposit, which is calculated once we have an idea of your project’s scope. Then we design your project, gain your approval, then fabricate it!

Parts Facility Questions

Our Parts Facility is open 7:30am – 4:30pm Monday thru Friday.  We re closed on statutory holidays.

Walk-ins are more than welcome!

We have over 10,000 parts available at any given time, but sometimes the part you need is unique/discontinued/rare. If that’s the case, we’ll have to look for it and order it in for you.

Here are some brands we carry:

  • Mailhot cylinders
  • Chelsea/Parker pumps
  • Buyers products
  • Hendrickson suspension
  • Eveley suspension
  • Grote lights
  • Truck Lite lights
  • Apsco valves

The Parts Facility sources and supplies all components for Langfab’s products, from raw metal to tiny bolts.

Yes!

And if the part you require is a bit unique compared to standard parts, we can machine what we have until it’s the perfect fit for your truck body.

Prices of parts vary from $12 – $5,000. They also fluctuate with the Canadian dollar.

It’s tough to estimate when a part will arrive if it’s ordered in. It depends on weather, shipping, etc.

Returns are accepted as long as you have your invoice and the part isn’t used or wrecked.

Service Centre Questions

The Service Centre is open 7am – 9pm, Monday thru Friday.

Yup! We can work on any truck body, Langfab or not.

General repairs/maintenance on Langfab truck bodies can be done in 24 hours due to us being intimately acquainted with our own products.

On non-Langfab bodies, repairs can be just as quick, or range from 1-2 weeks.

We never give a promised quote on cost because sometimes a repair is more complicated than originally anticipated. We never go ahead and do work you didn’t agree to, but we make sure you know of any problems we come across. Shop rates are posted on our Service Centre page.

We can service any truck body, Langfab or not. We can also service any custom projects we built.

We’ve repaired truck bodies that were in awful wrecks. It just becomes a matter of money. Are you willing to spend $30k fixing a $40k body?

Sometimes bodies are complete write-offs no matter what we do (all parts are compromised, and will never be road-safe again). If this is the case, we are upfront with you.  Our priority is getting you back on the road safely.

First step is contacting us. After that is a deposit, which is calculated once we have an idea of your project’s scope. Then we design your project, gain your approval, then fabricate it!
